LeaseGreen values your privacy and it is important to us that your personal data is handled with care. Your personal data will be processed in accordance with data protection legislation and the basic principles set out in the General Data Protection Regulation, as well as good data management and processing practices. This is to ensure that your privacy is not compromised.

We have agreements in place with our partners that comply with the Data Protection Regulation. In line with these, we have obtained adequate assurances from processors that their processing of personal data complies with the requirements of the GDPR.

LeaseGreen's marketing, customer and recruitment register

We process personal data of our customers and potential customers and their representatives in the register. We also process personal data collected in the recruitment and hiring process in accordance with this notice.

Purpose of use of personal data

The information is used for customer relationship management, customer communication and to improve the user experience and security of the website. Our aim is to target our messages so that you get the communication that's right for you. In addition, the data is used for marketing and recruitment purposes.

Personal data is collected and processed on the basis of customer relationship management, consent, communication, marketing, recruitment or other similar legitimate grounds.

Recipients and processors of personal data

Personal data are processed by the persons involved in the recruitment process. On a case-by-case basis, third parties such as recruitment consultants and expert assessors may be used for recruitment.

The controller is responsible for ensuring that the stored data is processed in accordance with good security practices and the instructions provided by the controller. We also require similar practices from third parties mentioned in this Privacy Notice.

Access to the register is restricted by access rights.

Rights of the data subject

You have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes. Each direct email sent by LeaseGreen contains a legal link where you can opt-out of future direct mailings to your email.

Under the GDPR, you have the right to.

  • be informed about the processing of your personal data
  • have access to your personal data and check the personal data we process about you
  • request that inaccurate or incorrect personal data be corrected and completed.
  • request the deletion of your personal data
  • withdraw your consent and object to the processing of your personal data insofar as the processing of your personal data is based on your consent; and
  • request restriction of the processing of your personal data.

If you make a request for access electronically, we will provide the information in a commonly used electronic format within a reasonable time after receiving the request. In principle, the execution of requests is free of charge.

Collection and storage of personal data

We collect personal data in connection with, for example, visits or emails, website visits, phone calls, social media and logging into our digital services. We therefore collect personal data mainly from you.

The recruitment register mainly collects information necessary for recruitment, which is obtained from the data subject himself/herself. The information typically collected is as follows:

  • name and contact information, such as name, address, email address and telephone number (for identification and communication purposes)
  • the information used to assess your eligibility and suitability, such as your work experience, educational background, language skills and other competences
  • attachments, such as a CV, application, job sample and photo
  • data generated during the recruitment process, such as emails, text messages and files to be stored.
  • classifications and notes made by the employer.

We will retain and process personal data relating to recruitment for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes set out above. We may retain personal data until it is no longer relevant for possible future recruitment. If the data subject does not want his or her personal data to be processed in future recruitments, please contact the controller in writing. The data may also be stored and processed if the data subject has been appointed as an employee or substitute of the organisation.

We may also collect personal information from public sources, such as company websites and address registers. Personal data may also be purchased for marketing purposes from registers outside LeaseGreen.

We also track cookies and your visit to the LeaseGreen website leaves a trace, an IP address.

We will only keep your personal data for as long as necessary, after which your personal data will be deleted.

Use of cookies

We use cookies (small text files stored on your device) to provide and develop our services. We also use cookies to personalise content and target advertising. Cookies allow us to provide more timely and personalised services by displaying content based on user interests. They also enable things like logging in and authentication, storing personal settings and preferences, analysing the performance of our sites and combating fraud.

When you use our online services, they collect information such as: your IP address, which links you use, which advertisements or other content you have viewed, which page you come from and visit, the time of your browsing, the type of browser or application you use, and similar information. Our website and services may contain third party cookies.

We use session-specific and persistent cookies. Session cookies only exist for the duration of a session, i.e. one session. They are automatically deleted when the browser is closed. Persistent cookies are there for a limited time and will remain on your computer after the session ends, unless you delete them before then.

Cookies will not harm your device or your files.

Transfer of personal data

We process data within the EU and EEA. In all transfers, we comply with our obligations under the EU General Data Protection Regulation and data protection legislation. We do not disclose marketing and customer registration information to third parties.
