LeaseGreen’s management team grew from three to five with the appointment of Mikael Friskopf, Head of Planning, and Jussi Toivonen , Head of Projects. The new management team took office at the beginning of November.
“Our team is hard at work and able to serve customers in a variety of ways. We don’t leave work to energy renovation alone. This is just the starting point for a long-term cooperation,” says Jonni Ahonen, Managing Director of LeaseGreen.
In addition to Mikael, Jussi and Jonni, LeaseGreen’s management team includes Jere Kilpi , who is responsible for commercial solutions, and Johanna Tainio, who is responsible for the service business and is supported by Otto Mutanen during parental leave.
The year 2022 has raised some grey hairs for large property owners. Rising electricity and heating bills and uncertainty about future prices recur in discussions with customers.
“It’s a liberating feeling when you own a large property and know that your electricity and heat use is optimised. And that in the future, experts will monitor and control energy consumption in near real time to prevent unnecessary consumption. It gives peace of mind not to have to think about energy costs every day.”
Optimising the energy performance of a property not only affects the next winter, but the entire remaining life cycle of the property. The cost savings are cumulative and Mother Nature is grateful.
Leasegreen’s eye is on the future: what solutions to tailor to each property to make smart preparedness for the energy storm as sensible as possible.
“It is essential to analyse the energy use of the property and determine which investments are most profitable. There are many variables, and they all need to be taken into account,” says Ahonen. “The only sustainable path is to move away from fossil fuels. That hasn’t changed anywhere.”
