LeaseGreen CEO Thomas Luther is leaving his position to join another company. Jonni Ahonen, currently LeaseGreen’s Director of Customer and Sales, has been appointed as the new CEO as of 1 January 2022.
“Together we have worked hard for the benefit of Finnish real estate and industry,” says Ahonen.
“I am handed an exceptionally important tool by Thomas, which I take up with enthusiasm but humility. There is a lot of work to do and we want to do it even better, so that customers can reduce their emissions in an economically sensible way.”

Jonni Ahonen is 35 years old and holds a Master’s degree in Economics. Ahonen has been working for LeaseGreen since 2017. Prior to LeaseGreen, he worked for Ovenia, Coor Service Management and Boston Consulting Group. In his free time, Ahonen enjoys sports, scouting and spending time with his family.

Under Thomas Luther, LeaseGreen has developed its business strongly. Alongside the project activities known as energy renovation, service partnerships have been introduced to improve the energy efficiency and intelligence of real estate and industrial buildings throughout their life cycle.
